The fascinating ancient port of Hoi An is a maze of narrow streets, witness to the legacy of the Portuguese, Japanese and Chinese traders who used the port in years gone by. It is a favorite stop for shoppers. The former capital, Hue, evokes reminders of the imperial past with its Citadel, Purple Forbidden City and impressive royal mausoleums. The central region is the home of Imperial Citadel Vietnam. Cruise along the Thu Bon River in Hoi An and gaze upon the picturesque scenery. Then walk through the Hue Imperial City (Citadel), last home of the Vietnamese kings.
In the morning there will be a transfer from Hue Airport to Dong Hoi stopping en route at Hien Luong Bridge and Vinh Moc tunnels. We arrive in Dong Hoi in the afternoon where there is time to relax on the beach. Overnight in Dong Hoi.
