The Royal Hotel was built in the year 2000 and is the hub or Royal Sapa (Viet Hung Company) operations. It is well known and well regarded for its comprehensive and efficient services. The Hotel itself is built on the hill and overlooks the Sapa Valley. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient in taking care of guests and trekkers needs throughout their stay in Sapa.  

·  The Royal Hotel is located at the end of the busiest street in Sa Pa, just 100m from the Sa Pa Market and 200 m from the Sa Pa Church. Cat Cat Village is about a twenty minutes’ walk from the hotel, and about 10 minutes from Ham Rong Moutain. For greater distances, guests may take a Russian jeep to Silver Waterfall, a 20 minute drive, and one hour from the Lao Cai Train Station (40 kms). 
·  The hotel offers great comfort and convenience to guests in a very friendly atmosphere; they are reputed to meet the discriminating tastes of astute travelers from all backgrounds. Thus, the Royal Hotel is very well known among independent travelers.

12 Rooms view the Sapa Valley and share communal balconies, while 12 rooms (also with balconies) view the town and 3 budget rooms have no balcony.
