Day 1: Hanoi
Arrival in Hanoi. Meet and Greet at the airport and transfer to the hotel in downtown Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi - night train to Lao Cai (B)
Full day Hanoi city tour. Hanoi, a city of lakes, shaded boulevards and verdant public parks, is the capital of Vietnam. We will visit the Ho- Chi-Minh-Mausoleum and Museum, the One-Pillar-Pagoda and the historical Temple of Literature. In the afternoon we will come to see the History Museum continued by a Cyclo ride in the city center of Hanoi. Transfer to Hanoi railway-station for the night train to Lao Cai.
Day 3: Sapa - Ta Van (B,D)
Arrival in Lao Cai at around 6:30 am. We will have a one-hour bus drive to Sapa, a hill station, which was founded in 1922. It is located in a beautiful valley close to the Chinese border. This stunning scenery is frequently shrouded in mist and home to diverse hill tribe communities. Moing at leisure to walk around the colorful hill tribe market. In the afteoon we will trek down hill to Lao Chai, a village of the Black H'mong minority. We experience one of the most spectacular treks in Vietnam, with buffalo paths up and down hill. On the way we will enjoy stunning views of mountains and valleys. In Lao Chai we come to see the village's catholic church and have a chat with the Black H'mong people before we continue trekking to Ta Van, a village of the Dzay ethnic minority, where we will have dinner and overnight
Day 4: Ta Van - Ban Ho (B,L,D)
After having breakfast we set off for a two hours trekking tour through the bamboo forest on to Giang Ta Chai, a village of the Red Dzao. We will stroll around the village and visit a local family, before we cross the river on a rattan bridge. Picnic lunch will be served by the riverbanks. We continue to Ban Ho, a scenic village of the Tay ethnic minority, where we will have dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Ban Ho - Thanh Phu (B,L,D)
Full day trekking to a Xa Pho village. The Xa Pho are famous for their colorful traditional costumes and living on the top of the mountains, where contacts with the world outside are quite rare, which helps to preserve their rich culture. Picnic lunch is served en route. We continue and trek towards Thanh Phu, a village of the Tay for dinner and overnight
Day 6: Thanh Phu - Sapa (B)
After breakfast we make our way to a dirt track for a jeep transfer back to Sapa. We check in the hotel for a hot shower and a cold drink. The remainder of the day is for leisure.

Day 7: Sapa - Coc Ly (Tuesday market) - Bac Ha (B,L)
In the morning we drive to Coc Ly, a small village of the Dzao and Flower H'mong. Enjoy their market (on Tuesdays), a very colorful market by the banks of the Chay river. After strolling around we will set off for a five hours trek from Coc Ly to road 153 on a hidden track, a Military Road, which was used by the Vietnamese army during the border conflicts with China. We will pass several villages and meet a lot of H'mong man riding their horses. Picnic lunch is served on the way. Pick up and transfer to the hotel in Bac Ha
Overnight in Bac Ha
Day 8: Bac Ha (B)
In the moing we will walk to Ban Pho, a village of the Tay and Flower H'mong minority. This will be a very gentle walk with beautiful sceneries along the way. We will visit the palace of the H'mong King before we are heading back to town for lunch break. In the afternoon transfer to Lao Cai for the night train back to Hanoi.
Day 9: Hanoi (B)
Arrival in Hanoi at around 5 am Day at leisure and overnight in Hanoi

Transfer to the airport for departure
