Cham island is a new destination for divers in Vietnam. Besides enjoying the old town of Hoian, you can have a day tour for diving and discover the untouched island of Cu Lao Cham. Dive tour starts and finishes from Hoi An, World Heritage town.
      We headed for the picturesque town of Hoi An. Most of the dive sites are located at the Cu Lao Cham Marine Park, a short 45-minute ride away by boat, a protected area where even local fishermen are not allowed to fish or drop anchor. This is a great spot for the beginner diver clocking in dives, because it is safe and there is plenty to see, including an extremely large variety (135 species) of hard and soft coral here, resulting in a techni-colour explosion.
