Day 1: Hanoi Arrival in Hanoi.
Meet and Greet at the airport and transfer to the hotel downtown Hanoi. Short sightseeing tour in the ancient part of Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 2: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay (World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO in 1994) (B,L)
In the morning we depart for Ha Long Bay. Declared as a World Heritage site by UNESCO, Ha Long Bay is one of the most spectacular natural attractions in Vietnam. Located about 200 km from Hanoi, the bay covers an area of more than 1500 square meters and is dotted with thousands of limestone islands, which rises from the clear green waters like sculptures crafted by the gods. On arrival we will check in hotel and board a Chinese junk for a great cruise with a fresh seafood lunch on boat, which allows you to experience the majestic beauty of the Ha Long Bay. Day 3: Ha Long Bay - Quan Ho village - Hanoi (B)
Leave Ha Long for Quan Ho village. Quan Ho folk songs were traditionally performed in the fields, as young men and women courted each other by singing romantic verses as they worked. The birthplace of this style of folk songs is Quan Ho village, which is located 30 km out of Hanoi. A buffalo cart will be waiting at the village’s gate to take us to the communal house, built in the 18th century, where we enjoy a Quan Ho song performance. We continue with a visit to a local family to experience their daily life and work. Continue to Hanoi and overnight
Day 4: Hanoi - Hue (World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO in 1993) (B)
Transfer to the airport for a short flight to Hue. Upon arrival at Hue the guide will meet you at the airport and accompany you to the hotel. After check-in and relax in the hotel we will cycle for about 30 mins to the Imperial City, an impressive royal complex built in 17th century basing on the ancient practice of geomancy. After here we will cycle to Dong Ba market, the central market. Stroll around the market then cycle back to the hotel. Overnight in Hue
Day 5: Hue - Lang Co - Danang - Hoi An (World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO in 1999) (B)
After breakfast we leave the hotel for a boat ride on Perfume River for 40 mins. Leave the boat we visit to Thien Mu Pagoda, which is located on the southwest bank of the Perfume River. Thien Mu Pagoda was the center of Buddhism in the center part of Vietnam. After here we take the boat to King Tu Duc Tomb, which was built between 1864-1867. The King tomb was laid out with palaces, statues and monuments in perfect harmony with one another to form a poetically natural setting. After the King tomb we drive to Lang Co beach for a lunch break. Continue to Hoi An with a photo stop on the summit of the breathtaking Hai Van Pass. Arrive in Hoi An at about 5 pm, you check in hotel and have couple of hour to relax at leisure until your guide pick you up for an amazing walk through the illuminated ancient part of Hoi An. Day 6: Hoi An - My Son (World Heritage Site Recognized by UNESCO in 1999) (B)
This moing we will travel to My Son (120km), where architectural treasures and sculptures of Cham culture dating from the 7th to the 13th century can be discovered. Boat trip back to Hoi An with a stop on the way to visit a ceramic village. Overnight in Hoi An
Day 7: Hoi An - Da Nang - Siem Riep (Angkor Wat, World Heritage Site Recognized by UNESCO in 1992) (B)
Free at leisure in the moing to shop around. Transfer to Da Nang airport for a short flight on Siem Reap Airways to Siem Reap (FT 633: 15:20/ 17:00, flight operates daily except Monday and Friday). Overnight in Siem Reap
Day 8: Angkor Wat (B)
Full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete structure of Angkor Wat which was built by King Suryavarman II in the middle of the 12th century over a period of about 30 years. Overnight in Siem Reap
Day 9: Angkor Wat (B)
Explore the magical beauty of Siem Riep by visiting the Temple of Ta Prohm, with enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers embracing the stone foundations of the structure. It gives the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. We explore this masterpiece as well as its surrounding temples of Banteay Kdei, Sra Srong, Ta Keo, Thommanon, and Chau Say Tevado. The Grand Circuit includes Preah Khan, the Kravan, Neak Pean, Krol Ko, Ta som, East Mebon, Pre Rub Temple is also visited this afteoon before we walk up to Phnom Bakheng hill for a great view of the sunset over Angkor Wat.
