Day 1: Arrival In Hanoi (L/D) 

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International airport, our representative will meet you and transfer to take orientation tour around Hanoi which allows you to catch a glimpse of ancient Hanoi and to learn about Vietnamese traditional architecture. Chance to go shopping at Hanoi’s old quarter. Visit Hoan Kiem Lake & Ngoc Son Temple. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi. 

Day 2: Hanoi -Sapa -Cat Cat -Sapa (B/L/D)

After breakfast, depart to Sapa, following NoiBai - Lao Cai high-way. Arrive in Sapa, check in hotel and have lunch. In the afternoon: Start trekking to Cat Cat Village, about 45 minutes walk from Sapa, this is the village of Black H’Mong hill tribe. The village is on the slope of the hill and easy walking, rice and corn are grown here.In the evening: you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping. Overnight in Sapa. 

Day 3: Sapa -Fansipan Peak - Lao Chai -Ta Van -Sapa (B/L/D)

Drive 9 km southwest of SaPa town in the Hoang Lien Son range of mountains, then take a cable car to the "the Roof of Indochina" – the highest mountain in Vietnam as well as in the Indochina Peninsula - Fansipan. You have free time to take photograph and relax before going down for lunch. In the afternoon, we start trekking down to Lao Chai village of Black H’mong ethnic people. Here we will discover their daily life and how they make traditional clothes, handicraft, indigo... We will visit the biggest valley which provides the best view for golden rice terrace fields in Vietnam. After Lao Chai we walk to Ta Van village of Giay people. It is a small group of ethnic people in Vietnam with a rich culture and beautiful houses located on rice paddy fields. Back to Sapa for dinner. Overnight in Sapa.   

Day 4: Sapa -Ham Rong -Sapa -Hanoi(B/L/D) 

After breakfast, walk to Ham Rong Mountain for a panoramic view of Sapa and its surrounds.Free to shopping at Lao Cai market. Check out hotel for lunch before transfer back to Hanoi. This eveningyou will be treated to the famous Water Puppet show depicting the local life and important history of northern Vietnamese people. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi - Departure - Luang Prabang (B) 

After breakfast, free and leisure until transfer to airport for next flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, pick-up and welcome at the Luang Prabang International Airport with the transfer to your hotel. Free and overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 6: Luang Prabang - Ban Huay Lo - Ban Mok Chung

The starting point of the trek is 40 km north of Luang Prabang in the Khmu-village of Ban Huay Lo which is located close to road 13. The trail passes through two Khmu & Hmong villages whilst continuously gaining height. The first village we visit is Ban Pha Pheung and the second Ban Mok Chung. Here you will learn more about Hmong culture as you spend the night in Ban Mok Chung with a local family which provides a truly amazing experience all of it’s own.

Approximately: 1 hour transfer, 5 hours trekking

Day 7: Ban Mok Chung - Ban Nasavang

On day two we continue on trekking into the rugged and densely forested mountains west of the Nam Ou valley. Here a trail leads us through remote and beautiful bamboo forests and stunning limestone scenery. We enjoy a picnic lunch in the jungle before carrying onwards to Ban Nasavang where we spend the night. 

Approximately: 5 hours trekking

Day 8: Ban Nasavang - Ban Houy Lueng - Luang Prabang

After enjoying our breakfast we trek uphill for around one hour before reaching the jungle! Entering the jungle we continue on trekking for another two hours until arriving at Ban Mok Mueng village where we stop for lunch. After lunch we take a break before heading off trekking down hill for around three hours, along the way there are some truly fabulous views over the Nam Ou River and the surrounding valley. In the late afternoon we reach Ban Houy Lueng village from where we will return back to Luang Prabang.

Approximately: 6-7 hours trekking, 1 hour transfer.
