ITINERARY
8:30 AM – Your guide will meet you at your hotel, from here we take a gentle cycle on a short but beautiful ride through lush garden land, rice fields and small villages to a local garden.
Be greeted by the passionate team at the garden and we start the day experience. We start with a short basket ride on the village river. Basket boat is an unique mean of transportation in Hoi An to glide along its mangrove forest. After the ride, it’s time to assist the gardeners with their daily work at the organic garden. Depending on the time of year, this may include tilling the land, fertilizing the garden with seaweed or picking ripe vegetables. Throughout the experience, learn more about their daily lives and the rich culture that exists in the Vietnamese countryside.
By noon, we’ll join into preparing our lunch using vegetable and herbs from the garden, then sit down and enjoy our work with tasty Vietnamese cuisine.
In the afternoon, we take an easy walk to the riverbank nearby for a chance to learn about the local lives of Hoi An’s fishermen. Let’s climb into a small, round bamboo basket and drift onto the water, assist the locals in casting a fishing net in the traditional way. Trip ends at your hotel around 4:00 PM.
