ITINERARY IN DETAIL
Day 1: Dong Hoi airport + Quang Binh – Phong Nha (L)
Pick up at Dong Hoi Airport – Transfer to Phong Nha Cave.
Lunch at local restaurant.
– In the afternoon : Boat trip on The SON River to visit Phong Nha Cave with wonderful stalagmites and stalagtites. It was recognized as a World Natural Heritage in 2003 by UNESCO.
– O/N in Phong Nha.
Day 2: Thien Duong Cave – Hue (B, L)
In the morning, enjoy the breakfast with local food at hotel.
7:30 Our guide will pick you up at your hotel by private car to Paradise cave, located inside the World Heritage Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park, about 25km from Northwest of Phong Nha
8:15 After fews minutes driving and a short walk-up of over 500 steps, you reach the cave entrance. Come inside and spend about 2 hours exploring the magnificent scenery with the spectacular stalagmites system, which is out of human imagination.
10:30 Our car will take you back to Hue city.
12:30 Relax and have lunch in local restaurant. On the way passing Quang Tri province, we will take a look at the DMZ area: The Macnamara Line, 17 Parallel, Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge, etc. Also, we will stop to visit La Vang Holy Land in Hai Lang district, where contains the most valuable sculptural works in the history of Vietnamese sculpture.
17:00 Arrive your hotel in Hue.
Day 3: Hue Imperial full day tour (B, L)
8:30 Our guide will pick you up at your hotel to visit Minh Mang Tomb - the site with unique architecture standing out among other tombs in Hue Imperail city.
10:15 Our next stop is Khai Dinh Tomb, best known for its stunning concrete structure, mixing well between Western designs and traditional Eastern culture.
12:00 Head back to a local restaurant in the city center for lunch. Relax and enjoy authentic Hue cuisine with scrumptious traditional food.
14:30 Take a short drive to Citadel - the imperial city of Nguyen Dynasty in the 18th century, the famous historical relic of Hue Ancient Capital once recognized as the World Heritage (UNESCO, 1993).
15:30 Continue to Thien Mu Pagoda - a historic site with seven storeys, and also the tallest religious building in Vietnam.
14:00 Take a Dragon boat trip on Perfume River to admire the romantic landscape alongside.
16:30 Our car takes you back to your hotel. End of services.
