Dong Hoi, the capital city of Quang Binh Province, is graceful with Nhat Le river and beaches. The town is close to the remarkable Phong Nha & Ke Bang National Park, the legendary Ho Chi Minh trails and war vestiges.
Designated a Unesco World Heritage site in 2003, the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park contains the oldest karst mountains in Asia, formed approximately 400 million years ago.
