Why travel to Indochina?

Indochina is the home of many different cultures as well as unique wildlife; therefore, it would be a good destination for you to gain lots of interesting experiences. Main reasons that can really make a trip to this enchanting land special: beautiful and exotic landscapes; unique local cultures; very friendly people; delicious cuisines; fascinating history; pristine beaches; great weather; exciting cities and remarkable architecture.

Can we get a tour guide who can speak our language?

We mainly have English speaking guides, but we also have guides speaking other foreign languages such as French, German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Italian and etc. When you book the tour, please let us know if you have else language requirement so that we can try to make the arrangement to meet your need. 

Can I use credit cards in Indochina?

Major credit cards such as Master Card, Visa, Diner's Card, American Express and JCB can be used to purchase goods in large shopping malls and stores in the big and medium cities, to pay for hotel rooms and for meals in some of the fancier restaurants, and to buy plane tickets with them.

Note: If you are to travel to those small cities or even remote rural areas, only local currency can be used (but you can use US dollar in Cambodia, it is acceptable).

Is tipping expected in Indochina?

A tip, or gratuity, is defined as a gift of money given to someone for performing a service or menial task, over and above the payment due for the service. Tips, which are not required in all countries, are expected in some denomination for good service from those in the industries where tipping is expected. In general, with driver and a tour guide, some 3-5 USD per person per day for package tour and some 10 USD for a day tour. Door-bell man is expected to be 2-3 USD at hotels and no need to tip for taxi driver as fares is negotiated

Do I need to take out travel insurance for my trip?

You must always ensure you are fully insured when traveling overseas, and we require all our clients to have suitable and adequate cover. Please check that your insurance includes covering cancellation fees in the instance you are forced to cancel your tour prior to departure due to unforeseen circumstances.

Do I need a visa to visit the countires in Indochina?

In the majority of cases the answer to this question is yes, though passport holders of certain Asian nations are permitted an exemption for stays of up to 15 days.

Visa-free entry is granted for any citizens of the Kingdom of England, the French Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Kingdom of Spain and the Italian Republic who enters Vietnam with temporary residence duration not exceeding 15 days from the date of entry, regardless of passport types or entry purposes, supposed that he/she comply with the provisions of Vietnamese laws.

Citizens of Japan, Republic of Korea, Russia, Luxembourg and Switzerland, ASEAN country citizens should be given free entry for 15 - 30 days to Laos.

Passports holders from Brunei, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Phillipines, Singapore Thailand and Vietnam can visit Cambodia without a visa.

Both Cambodia and Laos offer a visa on arrival option, though in Cambodia arranging this in advance using the new online e-visa service can avoid delays on arrival.

Do I need to make a reservation in advance?

Yes. We highly recommend making an advance reservation as soon as you know the dates you will be in our area.  The sooner you make a reservation the more likely we will have the tour that suits your travel plans.

Also, since you can cancel 48 hours in advance free of charge, there is no risk to you in making a reservation.  You can also cancel your tour for any weather-related reason and receive a 100% refund.

What happens if it rains?

Our tours operate rain or shine. If the weather conditions are severe, causing boat to be unsafe, we would offer to switch your tour, reschedule, or give you a refund.

How do I book and pay for a tour?

As our booking condition, we require full payment prior to departure day.

Please help us to fill some information required on “Book the tour” form and click “BOOK NOW”, then fill in some important information and click “SEND BOOKING REQUEST”

When we receive your information, we will send you the link for making payment. The travel voucher will be sent to you as successful.
