ITINERARY IN DETAIL

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY –MY THO – CAI BE (-/L/D)

8:30 AM Our tour guide and bus pick up at your hotel; depart for My Tho City arrival abound 10:00, the Capital of Tien Giang (Front River) province then take the big boat to cross the river to Ben Tre Province .

–  Stop over to learn how to do handmade coconut candy
–  Horse-drawn carriage takes you on the village’s roads
–  Getting to know daily activities of the local peoples along tributaries of river and enjoy some typical produces of the Mekong Delta like tropical candies, bee’s horny, fresh fruits (depend on the season)while the local music band serve you by traditional music.

Hand–rowing sampans take you along the small canal afterward head to Turtle Island for short trekking on the village’s road then stop at local house to taste the fresh coconut milk in their garden

The delicious lunch at the local restaurant will the last highlight of trip before coming back to the first boat station.

In the afternoon, continue to Cai Be District of Tien Giang Province. Overnight in Cai Be at local ancient house.

DAY 2: CAI BE – HO CHI MINH CITY (B/L/-)

In the morning, after breakfast at local house, we will take the boat to small island where you can see daily activities of the local peoples like makings rice-paper; coconut-candy; rice popcorn afterward visit rice factory to see rice husking process.

Back to the boat to see Cai Be Floating Market at noisy section of the river with too many buyers and sellers bargaining and exchanging from their boat. We will stopover at local orchard to taste fresh tropical fruits …Hand–rowing sampans take you along the small canals.

Depend on your request, we may keep boating back to ancient house for the delicious lunch (or back to the car back to Saigon, on the way, we will stop at beautiful restaurant for lunch). Keep driving back to Saigon end of the trip at your hotel. (Approx: 16:00)

  • Personal property: While traveling with us, your luggage will be safe in the car with our driver. However, we are NOT responsible for your money, jewelries, cell phones, and any other valuable belongings
  • Shopping -There will be no shopping stop on this tour (Except your request/ agreement to shop).
  • Tipping- any tipping on our tours is optional as we do believe that is extra bonus for doing good job so if you enjoyed our Team’s services (guide and driver and other) and decided to offer a tip, we would really appreciate your effort to hand over the tip separately (especially tour guide and our driver) so they both could appropriately express their thanks to you at the same time.

Children’s Policy

  • Above 9 years old: Apply the same price as an adult.
  • From 4 to 9 years old: 50% of an adult tour price.
  • From 1 to 3 years old: Free of charge (only 1 child).
  • Please note the age of the child(ren) on Additional Information Form.
  • All children must be supervised by an adult at all times during the tour.
