ITINERARY IN DETAIL
DAY 1: HA NOI ARRIVAL (D)
Meet and greet at international airport. Upon arrival visit Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum & Residence, One Pillar Pagoda and Literature Temple (The 1st University of Vietnam. Then take a city tour: sightseeing at Hoan Kiem Lake, Turtle Tower and The Huc Bridge and Ngoc Son Temple. Continue on to enjoy the Water Puppet Show.
DAY 2: HA NOI - HA LONG BAY (B/L/D)
After breakfast, free Shopping at Ancient Housing Area and Dong Xuan market. After will transfer to Halong town. This four hours drive will show you the diversity of the North Vietnam villages and rice fields along the journey.
DAY 3: HA LONG - HA NOI - HO CHI MINH (B/L/D)
This morning, take half-day boat trip in Halong Bay to view multi-shaped rocks and caves awarded as UNESCO natural heritage: Heaven cave and Wooden cave. Seafood lunch will be served on board. Return to Hanoi, then you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Upon arrival, our guide and driver will pick up and transfer to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
DAY 4: HO CHI MINH - MY THO - HO CHI MINH (B/L/D)
After breakfast, a two hour drive to My Tho will expose the colorful outskirt life as well as picturesque rice fields along the journey. Upon arrival, get on a boat trip up Mekong River with islet stop at Thoi Son to taste seasonal fruits, enjoy traditional folk songs. Then, visit the authentic life of the local and challenge your bargaining power at cottage handicraft shops. An adventurous sampan ride in palm shading creeks will be the next experience of the riverside region. Lunch to be served with the Mekong Delta specialty Deep Fried Elephant ear fish. Return to ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon, visit to China Town and Thien Hau Temple. Dinner will be serve on Saigon River Cruise.
DAY 5: HO CHI MINH - CU CHI - HO CHI MINH (B/L/D)
After breakfast, a one and half hour drive takes you to Cu Chi tunnel where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing an web-like tunnels system of more than 200km in length which used to be the shelters of guerrillas during the war against American troops .Return to Ho Chi Minh for lunch. After lunch, visit to The War Museum, the Hundred Years Red Cathedral (Notre Dame Cathedral), The Old Post Office, Phuong Nam Lacquerware Factory and HACOTA shopping complex.
DAY 6: HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE (B/L)
Bid farewell to Ho Chi Minh city today. After breakfast, a shopping time at Ben Thanh Market. Lunch, transfer to airport for your return flight.
